New Parish Priest
Monsignor McHugh will resign his Office in late summer and we will welcome Father Robert Taylerson as the new Parish Priest of St George & St Teresa.
Father Taylerson has been in Parish work for many years and was at one time Spiritual Director at Oscott College. Monsignor McHugh is very pleased with
this appointment as Father Taylerson is a very fine and spiritual man who will bring many years of experience to our Parish and School. Monsignor will continue to live in Solihull and work in a part-time and flexible way for the Parishes and Schools of the area, as well as doing some specialist work in the Diocese. He is also happy to be able to remain close to friends and parishioners in St George & St Teresa. Monsignor will be sadly missed and his wonderful contribution to our parish, school, St Peter’s and the whole community will stay in our hearts. We will be discussing how we mark his retirement over the next couple of weeks. I am so glad he was able to celebrate his Golden Jubilee in the Parish and I am sure this celebration will stay in our minds for a very long time to come.
