KNOWLE & DORRIDGE ROUND TABLE ‘SUMMER SANTA’ FOOD BANK SUPPORT COLLECTION

10 June 2020 (by admin)

Many families are struggling to make ends meet at the moment, so Knowle and Dorridge Round Table have once again enlisted the help of Santa  - but this time to raise much needed funds and food donations for the Bethany Food Outreach project and other local causes that need our help - Lots of you have already been helping this fantastic cause so thank you so much!

We want to help this great cause, so with his usual band of helpers Santa is taking to the streets of Knowle, Dorridge and Bentley Heath during June and July (with a suitably summery outfit for a change!) to call on our amazing and generous local community to help those in need. If you haven't got anything to hand while we pass by, or if you are self-isolating, we would be extremely grateful for a donation to this fundraiser - all donations (and gift aid!) will go to those in need - link below: https://peoplesfundraising.com/…/summer-santa-knowle-and-do…

We will be combining the usual Santa Routes into groups of three or four “Islands” and will complete the collections over the next 6 Saturdays with the first one taking place on Saturday 13th June commencing at 11am. We will release details of each week’s collection route during the previous week to each collection. The first collection route is ‘Bondi’, so please see the accompanying flyer for details of streets on the route.

We will NOT be knocking on your doors on this occasion in order to maintain social distancing.                                  Therefore, please leave donations of household provisions in a plastic bag or box on your door step or at the end of your drive on the day.

The foodbanks would ideally like the following items:-                                                                .
